This contribution proposes a 20 min guided, participatory video installation that invites participants to investigate loneliness not as a psychological state but as a philosophical and ontological condition. This condition is shaped by the ways we imagine, separate, and relate to the natural world, and by how past generations have done so in the past. Through interactive prompts, visual sequences, and reflective tasks, the session explores how ecological consciousness shifts when relationality and lived experience are reconsidered. The format is an adapted performative installation. Participants respond individually to a series of questions and perceptual cues. Each receives a sheet containing both blank response fields and faint traces of the previous participant’s answers from the same installation (most likely collected during our exhibition in Germany, 13–20 December 2025). This creates an immediate experience of relationality across time. One’s own responses are entangled with those of others.
